From the very beginning, the circle has been the primary formal constant in my artistic expression. In both the cycle noli turbare circulos meos and the more than one hundred works of the Mexaboro series, the orbicular value was woven into abstract traces across the pictorial field.
When viewed, halos unfold that almost inevitably draw focus, arrange access to the inner center, and allow for disarming depths to be experienced. The surrounding space develops a balanced climate, fostering deceleration and condensing equanimity—a state that refreshes and liberates those who encounter it.
As a woman and artist, experiencing the significance of the circle has been and continues to be a vital tool—both in everyday life and in particularly challenging times. It’s like a motor: when it runs smoothly, the journey becomes much easier. Using this simple interpretation as an affirmation inspires a more holistic and healthier way of living.
