Circles – The Eternal Play of Beginning and End My works reflect the infinity and perfection of the circle. It is both origin and completion, movement and stillness, focus and expansion. The circle invites us to center ourselves, to embrace life in its entirety, and to surrender to the natural rhythm of change and return.
Although I withdrew from public life for many years, I created countless works in my series MEXABORO. Influenced by the vibrant splendor of Mexico and the Aboriginal dot-painting technique, I developed pieces that can broadly be classified as pointillism—where small, distinct dots in various colors form a larger image. In my case, circles, of course.
Now, after successfully undergoing a life-changing vascular surgery on Valentine’s Day this year, I am taking small steps back into the world of art. Every circle we create—whether in life, in thought, or in art—leads to new understanding and a deeper connection to the world.
I’d love for you to join me on this journey.
