and life changes!
in february of 2022 cancer was suspected, a rare lymphoma was diagnosed and within a few weeks chemotherapy started. short before this diagnosis i had covid 19 infection. really pretty pleasant weeks…
chemotherapy was terrible and accompanied by heavy circulatory disorder. i was unable to walk more than a few steps, a wheel chair was necessary. my first ride ended in a wooden cart filled with honey, it just stood in my way :D
after 3 cycles of chemotherapy i had to pause for surgery in the blood vessels. that was successful, i could walk more steps and exercised strong to get my independence back. it was hard. the side effects of chemotherapy were awful.
and just as i wanted to complete chemotherapy i had to pause again because of the next covid 19 infection with high fever.
i can´t bring it into words how exhausting this months have been. it felt like i aged into the hundreds.
finally in september of 2022 chemotherapy was finished and complete remission :D
i underwent a second surgery in the blood vessels in october and since then i´m able to walk alone without any walker or stick.
never would i have accomplished this extraordinary result without my son´s support physically and mentally. and this beside his demanding career. thanks son <3
my conclusion as always is, to fight for and never against anything; in this case i fought for my health, for my recovery, for my ability to walk again, for my independence. it is incredibly rewarding to reach goals, to treasure the luck :D
